Fender Custom Shop 1956 Relic Stratocaster

Description

Another recent example from the Fender Custom Shop that reminds us just how good they have become and making the Relic guitars. This lovely Strat has a very Buddy Holly style two tone finish (actually slightly darker in real life than the photos suggest) but it features a slimmer 69 U shape neck profile which when combined with the 9.5 radius and medium jumbo frets makes for a smooth silky and fast playing experience. This Strat has a lovely relic job, excellent checking, and a nicely dulled finish. It’s a lovely weight, balanced and sounds incredible both acoustically and plugged in. A lovely spec and just a brilliant example.
