Fender Custom Shop 1960 Relic Stratocaster 2008 Pre Owned

A stunning Strat from Fender's Custom Shop in a great colour combo. This Relic Strat is from 2008 and has remained in superb original condition, a gorgeous silky slim 60s C neck makes it comfy to play and the sound is absolutely fantastic. This one comes in the original case with all the candy and certificate. We have given it a full set up and the frets are in excellent condition. We've opened it up to ensure it's 100% original and genuine (see photos). It has a CS Hand Wound 69 in the neck positio, a fat 50s in the middle and a Texas special in the bridge, a superb combination of lovely handwound custom shop pickups. Like all Fender Custom Shop guitars this one has the classic vintage feel to it, a lovely silky feeling to the stripped neck back. According to the Fender build sheet it was specified as having a neck to be 'REALLY DARK & DIRT'. It is likely a custom order with this pickup selection and the specific instructions for the neck back.  The sound has that classic vintage strat Quack that you'd expect. Today a brand new 1960 Relic Strat will cost well over £3000 in the UK, approaching £3.5k in some cases.
