Fender Custom Shop 1960 Relic Stratocaster Roasted Ltd Edition

A superb spec Strat from the Fender Custom Shop in 2018. This example has remained in mint and barely used condition and comes with the original case and all the candy. A Limited-edition model with some lovely specification. A 12-inch radius, large frets, the amazing Ancho pickups and most notably a roasted maple neck. The result is one extremely playable guitar that has a very very special feel to it. A stunning Strat actually. The rosewood is rich and dark and has been selected from AAA grade wood. The fingerboard edges are rolled and aged nicely to create a very comfortable vintage feel. Like many of the very recent Custom Shop guitars this one has a gorgeous relic job with extensive checking on the body finish and very authentic looking wear. The neck retains the gloss on the back, and it feels extremely smooth and silky to play, no stickiness at all. This is one of those guitars that I feel like keeping! When sold new in 2018 these Ltd Editions were in the region of £3700, or £3999 at some dealers. Prices for similar new models  / editions today usually exceed £4000 where stock can be found.
