Fender Custom Shop 1966 Closet Classic limited Edtn Stratocaster

A very rare opportunity arose to get our hands on this very rare 66 Strat closet classic from the custom shop in 2005. This one is a limited edition in a very unusual spec. The mid - late 60s Relics and reissues are quite uncommon. This one has been made to extremely accurate specs for a 66 and is a fantastic instrument. A lovely neck shape and a very serious instrument in terms of playability and sound. It features a period correct laminated maple cap fret board. The guitar remains in original condition and has been played a fair bit by the previous owner. Hardly surprising, this is a wonderful guitar! There is some lacquer wear on the neck, natural relic wear, which was done through playing rather than factory relic. It comes presented in it's original limited edition case with the certificate and most of the case candy. We absolutely love this Strat, the large headstock and transition logo look super cool, this metical silver colour also looks wondeful.
