Guitar Description

A lovely example of a lightweight Fender Custom Shop Tele that has all the 50s twang and a lot more! This is one of those Teles that's clearly been crafted from some lovely wood. So light it feels like it's hollow! With amazing resonance and a superb tone and with excellent playability. This one has very heavy 'Relicing' with a lot of factory wear, the neck back stripped and lots of lacquer checking. It looks very authentic has has that 'played in' feel to it. Not surprisingly it's been played, would be very rude not to! In fact this is one of those Custom Shop guitars that truly stands out as being exceptional. Everyone who tries it loves it! Super light and tight, with insane acoustic resonance to it. This one also has the slimmer 60s C neck profile, which is great for those who want the perfect Tele without the period correct large u shaped neck. We have given the whole thing a complete strip down and full set up and brought it up to it's optimum once again. A stunning instrument that has an authentic 50s vibe but can also seriously rock!

Guitar Condition

Used and played, but in good condition. Previously had different pickup fitted and 4 way switch but all back to stock now with the original parts. Some screws replaced due to being seized, so bridge now 100% adjustable again. Plenty of fret life left.
