Guitar Description

This stunning 69 NOS Strat is a wonderful guitar. This example has the trademark 69 U shape neck which is extremely comfy and as you'd expect has a set of the amazing Custom Shop Handwound 69 pickups which do sound incredible. Known as the 'Hendrix Era' Strats these models from the end of the 1960s represented the end of Leo Fenders major influence on the design characteristics and these mark the end of the best of Fender before the 1970s when things began to slide. With the large headstock, and promient black logo it's an iconic Strat that certainly looks the part. The Olympic white Nitro body is already starting to fade around the edges into a darker yellow colour. We have set this one up very nicely and it plays and sounds just as you'd expect.

Guitar Condition

Very good overall. Has some playing marks and some darkening of the nitro blonde finish. A few small nicks. Generally looks very clean, marks visible on closer inspection. Came with some mods (pickup changed, guard, saddles) but we have put it back to 100% stock now.
