Fender Precision Bass 1977
Guitar Description
A piece of Fenders history from the late 70s. A blonde P bass in good overall condition that is all original apart from a re-fret. This lovely example is fairly typical for a mid - late 70s P bass and while I am no fan of the six string guitars they made during this era, the basses were excellent and this one is no exception. This one plays very nicely and has that classic sound. A very nice vintage vibe to it as well. The original blonde finish has aged and yellowed well with some staining. It's been well used but not abused. The bridge has been upgraded however the original is included. Also included is the thumb rest. All the right sort of patina you'd expect for a guitar of this age. As with all things vintage the value of these has been going up a lot recently and a bass like this represents a good value purchase that will maintain it's value in the short term and go up in the medium to long term.
