Fender Stratocaster 1960 Custom Shop Heavy Relic

A gorgeous Fender Custom Shop 1960 Relic from 2008 in Lake Placid Blue. This Strat plays and sounds as good as it looks. A very typical spec with 1960 pickups, medium jumbo frets and a 9.5-inch radius. A lovely early 60s neck feel and very playable. It has a two-piece alder body with a maple neck and AAA rosewood board. The rear of the neck has been stripped as part of the factory Relic job and feels lovely and silky. This lovely example was bought from a collector of guitars who's owned a large number of amazing guitars. As such it's been kept 100% original and in amazingly good condition. We have had it fully set up with 9-42 strings and it's now playing perfectly. Today heavy Relic Strats like this are pushing close to £4k new and rising in price annually it seems. The case is a 2019 Fender G&G case, presumably bought because the original one was damaged or soiled. All case candy is present.
