Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop 57 Heavy Relic Master Build Jason Smith

A stunning example of a custom order Jason Smith 57 heavy relic Stratocaster in Daphne Blue. The first thing you notice when you pick this thing up is the amazing weight, it's super light. The very heavy relic finish is also super authentic, the master builder has done a far better Relic job than found on the team build relics. It looks extremely realistic and feels like a very comfortable worn in instrument. As with all masterbuilt custom shop instruments the build quality, fit and finish is a good notch up over the production guitars. This one has a lovely soft V neck which when combined with the 7.25-9.5 compound radius makes for an extremely playable guitar. The sound from this thing is quite incredible, acoustically it feels vibrant and alive and when plugged in it just has that amazing classic Strat sound with all the right harmonics. If it wasn't worth so much money it might have found it's way into the personal collection. Our guitar tech has re strung this with Daddario 9-42 NYXL strings and set it up perfectly, there was virtually no adjustment needed but since it's left his hands it's playing at it's absolute optimum.
