Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Blackie Pre owned 2015

Eric Clapton Signature Custom shop Stratocaster in superb condition. This lovely guitar is a dream to play and sounds absolutely fantastic. It's remarkable how much better these custom shop moldels are compared to the normal USA signature series Clapton Strat. It remains the perfect combination between vintage and  modern. The fairly slim soft V neck is finished in a thin satin Urethane lacquer which is super comfy and fast to play. The body is select Alder and also finished in a lovely deep gloss black Urethane. The two most unique features about this model are the blocked off trem (although Fender still provide a trem arm and the trem is still fully functioning should you wish to unblock it), and an active mid boost circuit. You can find the full spec on the Fender Custom Shop website. This model remains is excellent overall condition. There is one ding on the lower edge where the paint has been breaced. Aside from that there is little more than the usual light playing marks. Frets have tons of life left on them and some very minimal wear. A great set up on this one, it really plays very nicely. Today you'll pay £3300 - £3500 for a new one of these in shops are who are offering the best prices in the UK.
