Guitar Description

Another rare find has come our way in the form of this superb 2000 year Gibson 61 SG (Les Paul Model) Vibrola VOS in faded cherry. Made in the early days of the Gibson Custom Shop and at a time when Gibson were noted for making some of the best guitars in their history. This one is light, woody, resonant and with a lovely vibrant acoustic energy. There is no doubt that this has been extremely well crafted from very high end materials and selected woods. Plugged in it sings with a classic vintage vibe, Synonymous with Clapton’s Cream era in the 1960s this has all those classic tones. It's very unusual for us to come across these, especially the Vibrola models and like all high end instruments in this category they are rising in price dramatically.

Guitar Condition

Superb condition for it's age. Has been used and played but very well looked after and has plenty of fret life left. A few little marks here and there, nothing major.
