Fender Custom Shop Caballo Tono Relic Ltd Ed Telecaster

A superb limited edition Telecaster from 2015. This is the Caballo Tono Relic Tele which was a limited run for that year. It has some ultra cool features including a TV jones classic pickup in the neck position, pearl button machines, an RSD bridge and a reverse control plate. If you've ever played a Tele with TV Jones pickups, you'll know just how cool the sound is. This example is awesome, with a lovely heavy relic finish and a hugely playable large C neck with a modern 9.5 radius. The checking on the finish is extensive with plenty of neck and fret board wear applied by the custom shop. Very unusual to come across these. This one remains in superb condition and while it has seen some use during it's life it's been very well cared for and has plenty of fret life left. After we set it up and brought it up to optimum playability it's become a super instrument, resonant, bright and full of tone!
