Fender Custom Shop 69 Strat Reissue 1997

Very unusual to see these early custom shop re issues and this one is a real find. A superb reissue of a 1969 Stratocaster in a gorgeous three tone sunburst. This guitar was made in the days before the Relics had become the dominant sellers in the custom shop range and represents the fine quality of the custom shop at the time. This one is extremely authentic with a vintage radius and frets, a period correct three tone sunburst finish and laminated rosewood board. It's lovely to come accross one of these in such fine condition with the original case and all the candy including the certificate. Hugely playable with the very comfortable 69 neck shape and it sounds incredible. A perfect example of the Hendrix era spec and certainly a future collectors item.
