Fender Custom Shop Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster Signature edition

A rare opportunity came up to get our hands on this Fender Custom Shop Malmsteen Stratocaster from 2019. This example has seen almost no use at all and aside from a couple of small chips in the nitro lacquer on the body it's mint. The Yngwie Malmsteen Strat has to be one of the best examples of a super Strat that combines some vintage features with more modern aspects. For years Fender have made a USA production line version of this guitar and they are excellent instruments. In fact, I've owned one in my personal collection for a few years, not that I can play anything like Yngwie sadly! The hallmark features are the very deep scallops on the neck, the superb YJM Fury pickups, brass nut, a bullet truss rod early 70s style headstock and a four bolt neck. The body also has contours that are unique to the Yngwie spec. In this candy apple red finish, it looks incredible and if you're the ultimate YJM fan and want to own the very finest example of his signature guitar then this Custom Shop version is the only one to have. While the USA production models are great guitars, this takes it to a new level and is the real deal. There is quite a noticeable difference between this and the production guitar, well worth stretching to if you can!
