Musicman Sabre 1 1978 Players Grade
Guitar Description
This Superb Musicman Sabre 1 has seen a lot of action having been the main workhorse for a prolific player who did 1000s of gigs. It has recently had a refret (with wide jumbo frets) and the original bridge has been reinstalled where a trem had previously been retrofitted (holes in the body have been filled). Aside from this it's all stock and remains in excellent condition. There are marks and scuffs associated with nearly five decades of use but it's a superb instrument. There is a distinct vintage Fender feel to this but mixed with the quality and design of the Musicman brand. A hugely playable guitar with a great array of tones. These were only made for two years before being replaced with the Sabre 2. This great guitar has been priced very well and according to its condition.
