Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass

This lovely American Fender P bass came to us from the original owner recently. He's kept it in superb condition. At first sight it appears to be brand new. The American Vintage II series was the successor to the American Original which in turn succeeded the old AVRI guitars that Fender had sold for years. These new ones are superb reproductions of the originals and sit only a small way behind a Custom Shop NOS guitar in terms of quality, feel and sound. This one plays beautifully and looks the part in this amazing colour with the dark tort guard. Fender describes the finish as Daphne Blue but it's actually very slightly greener in real life than the photos show. The pickup cover is included in the case (never fitted) and the bridge cover was missing (lost by the supplying dealer) so we have added in a brand-new genuine Fender one. A stunning guitar in amazingly clean condition.
