Guitar Description

A Musicman Sub Bass with a couple of worthwhile upgrades. These superb bases were made available in the early 2000s as a more budget alternative to the Stingray. They turned out however to be excellent bases in their own right and are far from being a poor mans version of the Stringray. They came with a painted neck, textured finish and a metal kick board pick guard which was (as in this case) most often replaced with a more pleasing plastic one. This example has also been fitted with the upgraded Retrovibe Stinger 77 pre amp. A superb active bass and at an amazing price for such a high quality American made instrument.

Guitar Condition

Very good overall. Has been played and has a few battle scars but in perfect working order. Replaced pick guard and upgraded pre amp to A Retrovibe Stinger 77
