Fender Custom Shop Ltd Edition 57 Relic Stratocaster

Custom Shop Relic guitars are always a favorite of mine but my eyes always light up when a limited edition Sonic Blue Strat comes in. In my opinion the Custom Shop do seem to make a little more effort and take a bit more care with these Ltd edition guitars. This one is a stunning 57 Strat Relic in what is probably the best looking colour for a Strat. It's a 2021 model and remains in near 'mint' and barely used condition. Presented in the case with all the paperwork, we have given it the full Monty in terms of set up and maintenance and it's playing and sounding at it's optimum now. Unusually for a 50s this one has an Alder body which is interesting. An addictive guitar to play, it rings well acoustically and when fired up it sounds very sweet. As prices of new Fender just seem to keep on rising today (April 2023) you can expect to pay between £4,200 and £4,999 for Limited Edition Relics when new. They are touching prices that a few years ago were for Masterbuild models.
