Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Custom 72 Relic

A rare opportunity came up to get our hands on one of these so we naturally jumped at the chance. Extremely unusual to see Custom Shop Relics of the 72 Tele custom and this one is a beautiful guitar. From 2014 and in amazingly good condition complete with the case, traveller document and the usual candy. This one comes supplied with a six saddle bridge as an extra, but a previous owner has already fitted a set of compensated saddles to improve intonation. We will supply a set of original ones to ensure 100% originality in the case (we will leave the compensated ones on as they are a vast improvement. With it's 69 U shaped maple neck this Tele feels like a joy to play, the pickup combination is superb and the tones you get out of this thing are addictive. The finish is a nicely checked Nitro on the body with some great relic wear and a tinted poly finish on the neck with a high gloss finish and no stickiness, so is very reminiscent of the original 72 guitars. We absolutely love this guitar and it will be a shame to see it go, especially as it's unlikely we'll see another one for some time.
