Fender Made in Japan 57 reissue Stratocaster ST57

Was nice to come across this 1980s 'Made in Japan' 57 Stratocaster that is a single owner unmodified guitar that's presented in lovely condition and in a lovely quality hard case. It was quite an emotional parting when the owner sold it but he was determined to move it on. In the great decade that was the 80s Fender Japan were producing a great selection of models of Fender guitars from the early 50s era through to the 70s with numerous iterations of each year available in abundance in guitar shops of the era. Only in more recent years have people realized how superb those Japanese models were. A lovely looking guitar that is very playable and sounds lovely. Great Strat tones and looks and being all original and in this condition will certainly hold its value and rise further. Today Japanese Stratocasters are well into four figures when new. The frets have seen some light use but are level, crowned and it's set up ready to rock! Plenty of life left in them. I can remember as a 14-year-old in the early 90s aspiring to owning one of these and only dreaming of getting my hands one that said 'Made in USA'. These Japanese models are already starting to illicit nostalgia in the next gen oldies!
