Fender Stratocaster 1969 Journeyman Relic Custom Shop Pre Owned 2015 model

A superb example from the Fender Custom shop. These 69 Relics don't come up very often compared to the 50s and 60s models. This is a superb guitar with an incredible resonance and a superb tone. I am a huge fan of the 69 U shaped necks, super comfy and fast and they just feel great. With the 9.5 radius and large frets this feels slick, modern and easy to play while retaining every bit of an authentic vintage vibe. Known as the Hendrix era strats these models have a unique tone and feel. This example has been played (why wouldn't you?) but remains in superb condition with plenty of fret life left. Comes in the original case with all the tags and the all important certificate. All original with no changed parts. We've given it a complete clean, the frets are gleaming and it's been re strung with daddario 9-42 strings. At current prices a new one of these will cost around £3600 in the UK with further price rises expected soon on US made instruments.
