Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop 1956 Heavy Relic Sunburst

A very light and vibrant Strat with a very authentic vintage feel to it. This lovely example came into us recently and is a beautifully light Strat with a very comfy feel and killer tones. The silky smooth soft V neck has a lovely worn in and comfortable feel. The notes on the traveller doc show that plenty of dings and dents were requested at build so this one is a very heavy relic but hasn't been over done. The sound from the hand wound fat 50s pickups is offering the classic Strat tones you would expect from such a lovely guitar. Being from 2016 it's lucky enough to feature some really lovely ash on the body and although the traveller mentions it's not been weight sorted, it's the lightest Strat we have in at the moment! If you're a fan of very light Strats, you're going to love this one. In fact to get a sub 7 pound Strat from the Custom Shop these days is extremely hard as the lovely light wood stocks are becoming more rare and expensive.
