Guitar Description

A superb custom order dealer select Fender Custom Shop closet classic 62 Strat in black. This example is from 2014 and was a custom order for a UK dealer. It features notes on the traveller that 'No dings or dents, lacquer checking only please'. The neck back has the stripped silkly smooth finish that was speceificed on the order sheet as lacquer removed but not dirty'. The checking on the body lacquer is very extensive. It's a great looking guitar! In terms of playablity and sound it is exactly how you would expect a 2014 custom shop Relic to be... AMAZING. The rosewood board has rolled edges with some extremely authentic wear marks that make for a very comfortable neck feel. The neck is fast and silky. A superb strat!

Guitar Condition

Excellent overall condition. Plenty of fret life left. Frets are level, dressed and polished. Original owner installed a black pickguard and as such there is an extra one hole drilled for it (hidden under guard of course) original CS mint green one put back on now. Couple of small chips on body paint.
