Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop 56 Relic

A stunning 1956 Relic Stratocaster from 2020 in a gorgeous faded fiesta red colour known as 'Tahitian Coral Red'. This came from the original owner who barely played it. The owner was a luthier who makes classical guitars so it came to us well set up and in lovely condition. Unlike most of the Relics this one has closet classic hardware so the bridge, machine heads and neck plate are all as new rather than pre aged. This is listed on the traveller document which accompanies the guitar. With it's large frets, off centre V and silky neck back this Strat is a dream to play. It's a good weight for an Alder body and it's very nicely balanced. Sound wise it certainly scores top marks with the wonderful hand wound fat 50s pickups. An unusual colour, it looks like a very faded fiesta red, just stunning. This will be another of those Strats that we'll be sad to see leave the building. This one is priced low due to the logo being slightly damaged which we believe happened after the factory Relic job, it's minor and adds to the hugely authentic look but is worthy of a discount.
