Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop Relic 58 Dennis Galuszka Masterbuild

The first thing you notice about this incredible guitar is the Relic job that Dennis (the Master builder who built it) has done. It's very very realistic. In fact, it looks significantly more like genuine wear than the team-built relics do. The fret board and headstock wear massively add to the realism. We recently bought this from the original owner who had custom ordered it but barely used it. He had a studio but for the last 8 years has played another guitar leaving this one in its case. As a result, the condition of this Strat is superb, frets are perfect and it's 'almost new'.
It features a one-piece ash body which has been sorted for weight. A plain grain maple neck with a large C shape and Hand Wound fat 50s pickups. We currently have this on the wall next to a 2014 54 heavy Relic Strat in the same colour and it's quite a good way for us to compare the differences between the master built and team-built models. There is quite a difference, with this one looking more realistic with seriously good attention to detail on every single part of the guitar. The fret ends are super smooth and perfectly profiled, and the set-up is spot on. The natural resonance you get from it acoustically is amazing, it is very much alive. The neck is a fairly chunky C shape, if you like 50s chunky necks you'll love this! This is a great spec guitar from the very finest source, they don't really get any better than this. Today in the UK masterbuild Relic Strats are starting at £6000 and are in some cases coming closer to £7k depending on spec and builder. This great guitar will be certain to hold it's value well if looked after and kept in stock conditon.
