Rickenbacker 340 Burgandy Glow 1979

Another fantastic find is this Rickenbacker 340 in Burgandy Glow from 1979. It is in used but well looked after condition. A real players guitar and as such has seen some action over the years. It remains all original aside from a small wiring mod (easily put back to stock if you ever needed) which is  the bridge and middle pickup are wired on the toggle switch in the same way as a Les Paul. The neck pickup can be blended in to any combination by turning up the small volume knob. Quite a common upgrade.

As with all Rickenbackers the level of quality is superb, these are such beatifully made instruments. The playability and tone of this guitar is lovely, that classic warm Rickenbacker sound that you just can't replicate. Very loud and resonant when played acoustically and springs to life nicely when you plug it in.
