Ordered a 56 NOS Custom Shop guitar in mint condition, and I can't praise Julian enough. He was so polite and kind, he kept me updated with delivery details all the way until delivered. He sent videos to me via WhatsApp with guitar set up and test and showed me the packaging of the box - it was well packed and secured. I felt really assured about delivery.
He is very professional - he takes a lot of pride and care and time for you. He also included an AirTag and tracking information was kept updated at all times.

I have now acquired two guitars from Coffee House Guitars - a '53 Custom Shop Fender Tele and an aged Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul.
Julian was most helpful, trustworthy, and very pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Coffee House Guitars to anyone wanting to buy via the website and unable to travel to Frome to buy in person (I'm in northern England).
I hope to buy from them again one day.

You were right about that guitar - just a really good Strat. There's an uncanny quality I've found in a couple of instruments where they seem to get to the note before you do. It's like the instrument is saying to you; "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing, just play." In no time at all it just felt like a guitar that I'd been playing half my life. And it looks like it too. Got to say the light relic job is superb - it's so well done that you almost don't notice it - just seems like natural aging. I'm no expert on Strat pickups and sounds but plugged straight into a Fender Tone Master Princeton it's sounding glorious - pure Mark Knopfler Sultans of Swing, Tele like country twang, or smooth blues - all easily found. The whole feel is really smooth - helped no doubt by a lovely set up.
So yea - you picked a good one for me. I'm very grateful for your time and effort to guide me to the right guitar rather than just sell what suited you to move on. To be honest your website did a lot to convince me before we even spoke. Over 4 weeks of looking I don't think anyone else provided as much detail on the instruments, informed opinion on them, or as many detailed images. All of that removed the "just take a punt" aspect of buying at a distance that other online purchases would have entailed.
If I'm ever after a Telecaster to keep this Strat company, I'll be back! Thanks again for an easy and very successful transaction. Best wishes for the future.
