Gibson Non Reverse Firebird 2015 Japan Model (Made in USA)

Description

This superb Gibson non reverse Firebird came in recently from Bob Shearn, a seasoned top blues rock player and teacher. He originally bought this with the intention of jacking the bridge up and playing slide on it but never did, so it’s been in the case for the last eight years. This is the limited edition 2015 model known as the Japan version. It’s made in the USA of course but was a limited run intended for the Japanese market only. Some ended up over here and they’ve become rather sought after ever since. A superb instrument and a model that we seldom come across. We are delighted to have this in our current stock. We’ve given it a full set up (not that it needed much) and new strings and it’s now playing and sounding at it’s full potential. A great instrument that is classic and legendary guitar. The Gibson Firebird has been used by some pretty famous players over the years including Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, Keith Richards and many more. It remains a go to guitar for numerous musical styles, from Cream to the Sex Pistols!
